Reports to: Spa Manager or Supervisor
Location: Spa or wellness center premises
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spa Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional spa services to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Spa Services:
- Provide a range of spa services, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other therapies.
- Tailor treatments to meet the individual needs and preferences of each guest.
2. Guest Consultations:
- Conduct consultations with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide personalized recommendations for spa services and treatments.
3. Treatment Preparation:
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
4. Treatment Delivery:
- Deliver high-quality spa treatments, ensuring attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
5. Guest Communication:
- Communicate effectively with guests, responding to their needs and concerns.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance on spa services and treatments.
6. Product Knowledge:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spa products and services.
- Make recommendations to guests on products and services that meet their needs.
7. Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other spa therapists and staff to ensure seamless spa operations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed and up-to-date.
Requirements:
1. Education and Experience:
- Diploma or certificate in a relevant field (e.g., massage therapy, esthetics, reflexology).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a spa therapist.
2. Technical Skills:
- Proficient in a range of spa therapies, including massage, facials, and body treatments.
- Knowledge of spa products and equipment.
3. Certifications and Licenses:
- Certification in a relevant field (e.g., massage therapy, esthetics, reflexology).
- Current licensure or registration (if applicable).
