JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE ROLE OF TRAVEL LOAN OFFICER

Job Title: Travel Loan Officer
Location: Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time

Duties:

 Evaluate, authorize, and recommend approval of travel-related loan applications.
 Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their financial needs.
 Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
 Reach out to potential customers through cold calling and other lead generation methods.
 Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
 Achieve agreed-upon loan approval targets and outcomes within the schedule.
 Coordinate loan processing efforts with team members and other departments, when necessary.
 Develop and implement effective loan strategies to achieve company objectives.
 Set short-term and long-term loan targets and align them with company goals.
 Manage loan pipelines, forecast loan approvals, and report progress to senior management.
 Ensure efficient use of loan processing software and other financial tools.
 Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
 Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
 Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling loan products to maximize revenue.
 Develop and manage the loan budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
 Prepare regular loan reports, including approval rates, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
 Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role for at least two (2) years in a Travel Agency.
 Strong understanding of loan processes, strategies, and techniques.
 Excellent leadership and team management skills.
 Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
 Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
 Strong organizational and time management abilities.
 Track record of achieving and exceeding loan approval targets.
 Familiarity with financial analytics and reporting tools.
